Puppy Love Headband


 Over the weekend my kids got invited to a puppy birthday party. And my son asked me to make the birthday girl a hat, but since its getting warmer I decide to go ahead with the headband. And here it is what I came with. Now my son wants one, so I'll be working on a blue puppy next. I'll post pictures on my Facebook page when done. Enjoy it!!!!


Materials
White, Brown and Pink worsted weight yarn (Red Heart Soft)
5.00mm/H Hook(Child size)
Needle
Black Buttons (2)

Headband
Round 1
Chain 70 join with a slip stitch to the 1st ch. Ch 1, SC in the same st as ch 1, SC in the next st and in each st around, join with sl st to top of 1st SC (Be careful no to turn the chain)
Round 2-10
Ch 1, SC in the same st as ch 1 and in each st. around. Join with sl st. to top of the 1st SC
At the end of round 10, fasten off
Round 11
Attach pink yarn
Ch 1, SC in the same st as ch 1, SC in the next st and each st around.
Round 12
Ch 1, SC in the same st as ch 1, SC in the next st and each st around.
Fasten off, weave in ends

Chick-adee Crochet Beanie

Easter Bunny Headband

I feel like it has been a while since my last post, but it has been so beautiful here in Germany that I spent a lot of time outside. I have been crotcheting some orders and testing patterns too. I made this bunny headband for the upcoming easter celebration. I hope you like it and enjoy this fun tutorial.

Round 12
Change color (pink)
Ch 1, sc in the same st and each st across, join with sl st to top of 1st sc, fasten off

Ears (make 2)
4.24 mm/G Hook
The ears,nose and snouts  are crochet in a continous round, at the beggining of each round, use your crochet marker.

Round 1
MC 6 sc ( 6 sts)

Round 2
Sc in each st around (6sts)

Round 3
2 sc in each st (12sts)

Round 4
Sc in each st around (12 sts)

Round 5-6
Sc in the next 3 sts, drop color A. Pick color B, sc in the next 4 sts, drop color B. Pick color A, sc in the next 5 sts (12 sts)

Round 7
2 sc in the next st, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st, drop color A. Pick color B, * SC in he next st, 2 sc in the next st * Repeat one more time.
Drop Color B, pick color A, *SC in the next st, 2sc in the next st *repeat one more time, SC in the last st (18sts)

Round 8-15
SC in the next 5 sts, drop color A. Pick color B, sc in the next 6 sts, drop color B. Pick color A, SC in the next 7 sts (18 sts)

Eyes (Make 2)
(3.75mm/F Hook)

Round 1
Ch 6, sc 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next 3 sts, 3 sc in the next st, working on the opposite side, sc in the next 4 sts

Round 2
Ch 1, turn your work around, sc in the next 3 sts, 2SC in the next 3 sts, SC in the next 4 sts, fasten off

Nose (Pink)
Round 1
MC 5 SC

2 SC in ech st (10 sts)

Round 3-4
SC in each st around (10sts)
Fasten off

Sew ears, eyes, nose, and snout as seen in the picture

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!!!

 
Today across the U.S. children will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and I didn't want to be the exception. I made a cool pattern to share with all of you and hope you like it as much as i did.

* 2 hdc in the next st, hdc in the next 2 st *repeat from

Count 29 sts and attach yarn in the next st.

Sc in each st, fasten off .
 
Mustaches (make 24)
